M-Muk Defeat Korean Pair 2-0 to Advance to Second Round at Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters 2026 Badminton

Supak Jomkoh and Oranicha Jongsathapornpanich defeated the Korean pair 2-0 to advance to the second round of the Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters 2026 badminton tournament.


The Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters 2026 badminton tournament, a World Tour Super 300 event competing for the royal trophy presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya and a prize pool of 250,000 US dollars (approximately 8.5 million baht), took place at Nimibutr Indoor Stadium, National Stadium, on 28 January. This marked the first round of competition.

In mixed doubles, "M" Supak Jomkoh and "Muk" Oranicha Jongsathapornpanich, ranked 101st in the world, faced Kim Jae-hyun and Jung Na-eun, ranked 129th from South Korea. The Thai pair won 2-0 sets, 21-13, 21-19, advancing to the second round (round of 16) to meet Jimmy Wong and Lai Pei Jing, ranked 25th and seeded 7th from Malaysia, who defeated Lee Jung Min and Lee Yu Lim, ranked 345th from South Korea, 2-1 sets 14-21, 24-22, 21-15.

In women's doubles, "Tara" Pattharin Iamwareesrisakul and "Namwa" Sarisa Janpaeng, ranked 83rd globally, narrowly lost 1-2 sets to Lin Xiao Min and Wang Yu Qiao, ranked 29th from Taiwan, with scores of 21-10, 10-21, 11-21.
