Nusara Delighted! Yoshino and Yamada, Two SV.LEAGUE ALL STAR Captains, Compete to Draft Her First
"Sara" Nusara Tomkom, Thailand's legendary top setter who is both a player and setter coach for the Quince Kariya team, shared her feelings after being chosen first in the draft by captains Nishika Yamada and Sato Yoshino for the SV.LEAGUE WOMEN ALL STAR GAMES 2025/26, with Sato Yoshino ultimately drawing the Thai national team legend to join her team.
Nusara said that when she found out both team captains picked her first, she felt very happy. She admitted feeling a little shy because usually they tend to pick hitters first, but being chosen made her feel very honored. She also thanked both captains for selecting her as their top pick.
"Tomorrow is the All-Star Game. I want to send a message to all Thai fans, whether cheering from Thailand or coming to support at the venue, to please cheer for us—whether it’s Yoshino’s team or Nishika Yamada’s team."
The All-Star Game will be held at G-Lion Arena Kobe on Saturday, 31 January 2026. Volleyball fans must not miss it and can watch the live broadcast on Monomax at 11:05 a.m.
