End of Tokyogurl Era: Female Streamer Uses Proxy to Cheat in RoV at 2025 SEA Games Before Being Arrested by CIB

The era of Tokyogurl, a fierce female streamer who shed her Russian roots and used a proxy to cheat in RoV at the 2025 SEA Games, ends with her arrest by the CIB.

On 13 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the chapter closed on Tokyogurl, a promising female esports athlete who began as a RoV streamer before earning a spot on Thailand’s national team for the 2025 SEA Games. She played as a carry for Talon Esport but was expelled from the 2025 SEA Games due to cheating via a proxy.

Tokyogurl started as a streamer showcasing her skills, steadily gaining followers. She gained wider recognition after renowned RoV streamer “AddWee” acknowledged her as a highly skilled female player.

Her career brightened progressively, making her one of the key players on Thailand’s women’s national team preparing for the 33rd SEA Games hosted by Thailand, seen as a vital contender for the gold medal.

Her national team journey stumbled when she was caught on live broadcast making an obscene gesture, shortly before losing 0-3 to Vietnam despite teammates urging her not to.

Worse, Tokyogurl was exposed for secretly installing banned software on her phone, raising suspicions she used a program to let someone else impersonate her in matches. Many viewers noted the substitute player displayed pro-level skills.

The Esports Association of Thailand (TESF) issued a statement confirming the decision to expel “Napath Warasin,” aka Tokyogurl, from the 33rd SEA Games and announced that her team, Talon Esports, had terminated her contract.

Garena RoV Thailand released an urgent statement imposing the harshest penalty on Tokyogurl, officially banning her for life from all Garena-organized competitions.

The esports president withdrew the women’s RoV team from the 2025 SEA Games after intense pressure.

On 13 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the CIB launched Operation Ghost Buster, arresting Tokyogurl and Cheerio, the proxy, charging them with "collaborative unauthorized access and disclosure of protected computer system data."

The suspects confessed to all charges. Notably, the male suspect admitted to being hired as a proxy player for over three years, receiving only a few hundred baht per session.

Authorities submitted the case to the Pathumwan District Court for prosecution on 6 Feb 2026 GMT+7, with the verdict scheduled for 17 Mar 2026 GMT+7.
