Pro Jinno Atthaya Thitikul Wins First LPGA Thailand Championship, Living Up to World No. 1 Status

Pro Jinno Atthaya Thitikul has done it, winning her first LPGA Thailand golf championship, living up to her status as the world No. 1.

On 22 February 2026, "Pro Jinno" Atthaya Thitikul, the Thai female golfer and current world No. 1, competed in the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026, with a total prize purse of 1.8 million USD (about 60 million baht) held at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, from 19 to 22 February 2026.

Today was the final round. Pro Jinno, who had surged into the lead after round 3, added another 4 under par with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys, finishing with a total score of 24 under par over 4 days. She narrowly defeated Japanese pro Shizzy Iwai by just one stroke.

Leaderboard after the final round:

1st place: Atthaya Thitikul, total score -24

2nd place: Shizzy Iwai (Japan), total score -23

3rd place: Kim Hyo Joo (South Korea), total score -22

This victory marks Pro Jinno Atthaya Thitikul's first championship of 2026, her 8th LPGA Tour win, and her first Honda LPGA Thailand title. She is also the third Thai female golfer to win this tournament, following "Pro May" Moriya Jutanugarn in 2021 and "Pro Patty" Pajaree Thavatchthakijkul in 2024.
