Yamaha Welcomes Prime Minister Anutin to YamahaGP Pavilion at MotoGP 2026

Yamaha welcomed Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to visit the YamahaGP Pavilion at the MotoGP 2026 event.


Mr. Motofumi Chitara, President of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Pongsathorn Euamongkolchai, CEO of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., and executives, welcomed Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his delegation on the occasion of his role as the opening ceremony chair for the PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026 at Chang International Circuit in Buriram province.


The Prime Minister toured the YamahaGP Pavilion, a large air-conditioned dome covering over 800 square meters, set up to welcome motorsport fans from around the world. He closely viewed Yamaha’s products and praised the YAMAHA Racing ThaiGP Collection clothing, designed with Thai silk featuring the royal pattern "Khon Chao Sirivannavari" granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, reflecting Thai identity to the international audience.


Additionally, the Prime Minister sat on the YAMAHA YZF-R9 motorcycle decorated with the same design as Fabio Quartararo's number 20 race bike from the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team to take commemorative photos amid the lively atmosphere of speed fans.


The Prime Minister’s visit to the YamahaGP Pavilion took place on race day for the opening round of the MotoGP 2026 season at Chang International Circuit in Buriram province, recently.
