KLPGA Announces Rejuran Championship with 22 Million Baht Prize Pool March 12-15 at Amata

The KLPGA announced the "Rejuran Championship" set for March 12-15 at Amata Spring, inviting prominent female pros from South Korea and Thailand to participate in a strong field competing for a total prize of 22 million baht.

The KLPGA Tour from South Korea held a press conference to announce the Rejuran Championship, opening the 2026 season in Thailand. The total prize fund is 1.2 billion won, approximately 22.44 million baht. The competition runs March 12-15, 2026, at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi province. Renowned pros from South Korea and Thai golfers have been invited. The champion will receive 216 million won, or about 4.65 million baht.

This event marks the opening tournament of the 2026 KLPGA Tour season, played in stroke play format over 4 days and 72 holes. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 60 players plus ties to compete for the prize money. The KLPGA Tour is primarily sponsored by Rejuran and Pharma Research along with partner groups. The press conference held at Amata Spring Country Club on March 3, 2026, was honored by Lim Seho, a representative from Rejuran, the event sponsor, along with prominent pros from South Korea and Thailand including Lee Ji-hyun, Cho Hae-rim, “Pro Saipan” Pannarun Thanapolboonrasmi, and “Pro Sim” Nattakritta Wongtaveelap.

“Pro Saipan” Pannarun Thanapolboonrasmi expressed her excitement at being honored to compete in this important KLPGA Tour event. She said she aims to perform her best, having mostly competed on the Japan Step-Up Tour. This tournament represents a significant step in her professional career within the KLPGA Tour, which she sees as an interesting pathway.

Meanwhile, “Pro Sim” Nattakritta Wongtaveelap said she currently plays on the China LPGA and has not competed recently due to personal life arrangements. This event marks her return to competition and her first time playing in such a major tournament in a long time, so she has prepared thoroughly.

Pro Lee Ji-hyun said she is happy the event is held in Thailand because she usually trains there. She feels physically ready to compete and believes that short game skills will be a key factor in winning this tournament.

Pro Cho Hae-rim, another South Korean female golfer, described the event as challenging. She expressed her pleasure that Thailand has such excellent golf courses and said she can hardly wait to compete on this course.
