
Thailand's Kulwut Vitidsarn, men's singles badminton player, has once again risen to become the world No. 1 after advancing to the semifinals of the All England Open 2026.
On 6 March 2026, the world was electrified as Kulwut Vitidsarn, Thailand’s men's singles badminton star, reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking after reaching the semifinals of the All England Open 2026 with a victory.
Previously, Kulwut Vitidsarn made history as the first Thai men's singles badminton player to officially reach the world No. 1 ranking on 3 June 2025, following his outstanding performance and winning the Singapore Open 2025 in late May, according to the announcement by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Kulwut Vitidsarn will await the winner between world No. 5 Christo Popov of France and world No. 11 Lin Chun-yi of Chinese Taipei in the men's singles semifinal at the All England Open 2026.
