Ayutthaya Heats Up! Concludes 3x3 Basketball Championship Across 4 Regions

All strong teams are ready to advance to the Thailand Championship "Road To FIBA 3X3 Sponsor | Red Bull Champions Cup" at CentralWorld on 13 March!

The "Road To FIBA 3X3 Sponsor | Red Bull Champions Cup 2026" competition concluded beautifully at the fourth qualifier (Central Region) in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The event sought top teams to advance to the Thailand Championship, competing for the prestigious trophy, FIBA world ranking points, and total prize money exceeding 500,000 baht. All winners will advance to the final stage at CentralWorld's outdoor activity area in Bangkok on 13-14 March.

The atmosphere during the competition on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March was vibrant and intense, matching previous venues. There was an overwhelming number of entrants in every category, with enthusiastic supporters cheering their teams courtside. A highlight was the appearance of Om Chanathip Jakrawan, the talented national team center and recent SEA Games gold medalist, who participated in a basketball clinic organized by SuperSport to teach techniques and inspire Ayutthaya youth up close. Additionally, special activities from main sponsors Sponsor drink, Red Bull, and Honda motorcycles offered generous prizes to basketball fans throughout both days.

The results from the fourth qualifier (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya) after fierce competition produced champions in five categories as follows:

•    U12 category (boys and girls combined): Team Kubon Slayer

•    U18 girls category: Team Traveller

•    U18 boys category: Team Traill

•    Adult women category: Team CHUU

•    Adult men category: Team RNSport

Winners from all four regions in the U12 and U18 categories, both male and female, will compete in the "Champions of Champions" round at the venue in front of CentralWorld on 13-14 March. This is a special opportunity granted by FIBA (International Basketball Federation) to hold the finals on a world-standard court—the same used in the "FIBA 3x3 Sponsor | Red Bull Champions Cup 2026," the world's biggest 3-on-3 basketball event. This year, Thailand hosts and fields both male and female national teams in the competition.

•    13 March (women's team): Thailand vs Spain at 17:00

•    13 March (men's team): Thailand vs Serbia at 17:30

Watch and cheer for free at the outdoor activity area in front of CentralWorld from 13-15 March or watch live on Channel 7HD every day from 17:00 to 18:00.
