KLPGA Hosts Rejuran Championship Featuring Top Female Pros from South Korea and Thailand

The KLPGA announced it will host the "Rejuran Championship" with a total prize fund of 22 million baht from 12-15 March at Amata Spring Country Club, inviting prominent female pros from South Korea and Thailand to participate in large numbers.

The South Korean KLPGA Tour held a press conference to announce the "Rejuran Championship," opening the 2026 season in Thailand with total prize money of 1.2 billion won, approximately 22.44 million baht. The competition runs from 12-15 March 2026 at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi. Famous pros from South Korea and Thai golfers have been invited. The champion will receive 216 million won, or about 4.65 million baht.

This event marks the opening tournament of the 2026 KLPGA Tour season, played in stroke play format over 4 days and 72 holes. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the top 60 players and ties for the prize chase. The KLPGA Tour is mainly sponsored by Rejuran, Pharmary Research, and affiliated partners. At the press conference on 3 March 2026 at Amata Spring Country Club, Lim Se-ho, a representative from Rejuran, the event sponsor, was present along with notable pros from South Korea and Thailand, including Lee Ji-hyun, Cho Hae-rim, "Pro Sai-Pan" Pannarut Thanapolboonrusm, and "Pro Sim" Natthakrit Wongtaweelap.

"Pro Sai-Pan" Pannarut Thanapolboonrusm expressed her happiness to be honored to join the tournament, describing it as an important event on the KLPGA Tour. She aims to perform at her best, having played continuously on the Japan Step-Up Tour. She sees this as a crucial step in her career competing on the KLPGA Tour, which offers an interesting professional pathway.

Meanwhile, "Pro Sim" Natthakrit Wongtaweelap stated that she currently plays on the China LPGA. She has not competed recently due to personal life matters but views this tournament as her comeback event. She noted it has been a long time since she played in such a major tournament and has prepared thoroughly.

South Korean pro Lee Ji-hyun said she is pleased the event is held in Thailand, where she usually trains. She feels physically ready for competition and believes short game skills will be a key factor in winning the tournament.

Another South Korean female golfer, Cho Hae-rim, described the event as a challenging tournament. She is delighted that Thailand has such excellent golf courses and cannot wait to compete on this course.
