Three Top South Korean Pros to Compete in Rejuran Championship 2026 KLPGA Tour Opener in Thailand

Three top South Korean pros will compete in the "Rejuran Championship 2026," the new season opener of the KLPGA Tour in Thailand.

Hong Jung-min, the highest-earning golfer of the 2025 KLPGA Tour, along with Yoo Hyun-joo, the top-ranked points leader of the 2025 KLPGA Tour and winner of two tour events, and Noh Seung-hee, ranked second in the 2025 money list, are fully prepared to compete in the "Rejuran Championship 2026." This event is the KLPGA Tour season opener held in Thailand with a total prize purse of 1.2 billion won (22.44 million baht). The tournament runs from 12-15 March at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi Province. The champion will receive 216 million won (about 4.65 million baht).

This event is the season opener for the 2026 KLPGA Tour, played in a 4-day, 72-hole stroke play format. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 60 players and ties to compete for prize money. The KLPGA Tour is primarily sponsored by Rejuran and Pharmarise, with partners including the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Amazing Thailand), K-Food, K-Berry, Thailand Post, UIH, TP. Millis, VAC, Nolbu, Monkey Travel, Smith and Leather, Golf Pride, SBS Golf, Golf Plus, and Quad Sports.

Hong Jung-min, a 24-year-old golfer and the highest money earner on the 2025 KLPGA Tour, shared his thoughts on competing in Thailand: "I am delighted that the tour is opening the season in Thailand because the weather in South Korea is very cold, which makes competition difficult. Also, Thailand is an attractive tourist destination, especially for its food, so I am very motivated to compete here."

Meanwhile, 21-year-old rising star Yoo Hyun-joo, ranked number one in points for the 2025 KLPGA Tour and holder of two major titles from last year, said: "Golf courses in Thailand are known for their quality, and Amata Spring is among the most highly regarded. I am excited to compete here and hope to perform well in starting the year."

Noh Seung-hee, a 25-year-old golfer ranked second in the 2025 money list, expressed: "I want to start the year well, so I hope to perform strongly in this tournament. Last year I won three titles, and I aim to begin this year with a good ranking."
