
Pol. Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda, known as “Big Pae,” President of the Athletics Association of Thailand, held a meeting with coaches and athletes, officially unveiling Coach G and planning team preparation for the Asian Beach Games and the 2026 Asian Games.

Chakthip Chaijinda, President of the Athletics Association of Thailand, convened a meeting with coaches and athletes, unveiling Coach G and planning the team's preparation for the Asian Beach Games and the 2026 Asian Games. The meeting with the Thai national athletics coaches and athletes aimed to discuss and track progress in preparing the Thai athletics team for international competitions in 2026, held at the Deluxe Conference Room, Thammasat University Rangsit Center, Pathum Thani Province.
The meeting included a review of results from the 2026 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, held 6–8 Feb 2026 in Tianjin, People's Republic of China, and the 18th Asian Athletics Cross Country Championships on 21 Feb 2026 in Fukuoka, Japan. Discussions also covered training plans for the 2026 Asian Beach Games in China and updates on preparations for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
Additionally, the meeting welcomed Coach G, Jentry Bradley, the sprint coach for the Thai national athletics team. He is set to play a key role in developing Thai sprinters, raising training standards, and enhancing competitiveness at Asian and global levels.
At the meeting’s conclusion, Pol. Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda addressed the athletes, saying, “This reunion is a good omen after everyone has been busy with various competitions. It is a great pleasure to see everyone gathered here together.”
He added, “The Athletics Association is like a large family in the sports community. I urge all athletes to train diligently and prepare thoroughly for the important upcoming events, including the 2026 Asian Beach Games and the 2026 Asian Games, to achieve success and bring honor to Thailand. Please maintain discipline when competing abroad, trust in the association’s management, and above all, stay united and take care of your health as we strive for success together.”
