
“Fifa” teamed up with his younger brother “Putter” to bring excitement to the Par 3 Contest at Augusta, surprisingly rubbing shoulders with Song Joong-Ki before taking on the first major tonight!
9 April 2026: The Par 3 Contest, a sacred and warm traditional event, took place ahead of the start of The Masters 2026 at Augusta National Golf Club.
This year, “Fifa” Pongsapak Laophakdee, Thailand’s sole rising amateur golfer, took part in the relaxed 9-hole special round. Fifa entrusted honorary caddie duties to his younger brother “Putter,” who wore a distinctive white jumpsuit while carrying the golf bag. The highlight was Putter’s precise putting skills, sinking two birdies in place of his brother.
Beyond family joy, Fifa also met famous star “Song Joong-Ki,” the South Korean superstar from the popular series “Descendants of the Sun,” who came as a caddie for renowned Korean pro Im Sung-jae during the Par 3 Contest. Fifa made sure to take commemorative photos.
Another thrilling moment came at hole 16, where “Fifa” had to chip the ball to bounce over the water and reach the green amid cheers from the crowd.Watch the clip here.
