ALM x Impact Tennis & Sport Center officially opened, welcoming tennis fans of all ages and genders to enjoy the sport.
Bangkok, 11 Apr 2026 GMT+7; ALM x Impact Tennis & Sport Center, a new comprehensive tennis and sports complex, is ready to deliver joy, fun, and fitness for tennis players at Muang Thong Thani.
Dr. Usanee Mahakit Sirilioneo, Chairperson of KFU Co., Ltd., the importer of brands such as Krispy Kreme, Cinnabon, Bulgogi Brothers, Pie Face, and See's Candies, and now the new ALM x Impact Tennis & Sport Center, said, “We are honored that Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, CEO of Impact Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. and Bangkok Land Public Company Limited, entrusted us to develop this tennis facility. This is a dream come true. During the global COVID-19 crisis, all venues and activities were locked down, and it was uncertain when the pandemic would end. We learned that maintaining strong health during such times is crucial. Together with my husband, Lorne Leoñeo, a former youth national tennis player for the Philippines, we led our children (Isri, Atita, and Piyamphat Mahakit Sirilioneo) in serious tennis training. Continuous playing revealed the charm of tennis: it not only strengthens the body but also trains focus on the ball, sharpens reflexes against unpredictable shots, develops problem-solving skills during matches, and importantly, sports bring our family closer. I dream that if given a chance, I would love to share these positive experiences with other families and tennis enthusiasts.”
Dr. Usanee added, “ALM x Impact Tennis & Sport Center has upgraded the existing facilities to meet international standards, covering the main surfaces used in Grand Slam tournaments such as the Australian Open, U.S. Open, French Open, and Wimbledon. Currently, the center has 14 courts: one main Center Court, 10 indoor courts, one outdoor court, and two clay courts. In July, a grass court will open to support training, national and international competitions, as well as large-scale events and tournaments efficiently. A key highlight is the two clay courts, which more than 50% of the world's top 100 players have developed their skills on. Our clay courts use authentic clay imported from Italy—the same standard as used in global events like Roland Garros—to provide a playing experience closest to real competition. Recently, we partnered with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) to elevate this venue to an Asian-standard training center, offering athletes from across the region an ideal place to train and improve their skills.”
The center also offers full amenities such as a tennis pro shop, physiotherapy rooms, ice baths, Leo Academy Lounge, hair and nail salons, and more. There is a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop designed to match the venue's concept, with plans to add more brands in the near future. Moreover, world-class matches will be regularly hosted to give tennis fans close-up viewing experiences.
The grand opening ceremony of ALM x Impact Tennis & Sport Center was honored by Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, as the presiding guest. Other distinguished attendees included Prayut-Suwimon Mahakit Sirilioneo, Patthapong and Priyamol Thanawisut, Warawut Laopongchana, Seekanya Sakdidech Phanuphan, Akarat Wannarat, Nusba Punnakant, Songkran Techana-rong, Khemapsorn Sirisukha, Phupha Techana-rong, Mint-Chalida Vijitwongthong, Punchan-Phrom Amnothai, Bom-Tanin Mununsilp, Luke Ishikawa Plauden, Thanatchai Vijitwongthong, among others.
Event activities included Rafa Nadal Academy Training, offered by the world-renowned tennis academy founded by Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay Courts. The academy hosted free tennis clinics focusing on training techniques, strength development, and physical fitness preparation for VIP guests and registered youth participants. The training was divided into three main stations: Build a Champion, presenting concepts and pathways to develop tennis athletes to champion standards; Physical Preparation, focusing on building the necessary physical fitness and strength for tennis; and Tennis Training, providing practical skill drills in four sub-areas: Forehand, Backhand, Volley, and Serve. Participants who completed training received certificates from the Rafa Nadal Academy. Additionally, Thailand Hero Training allowed lucky participants to train with world champion Thai tennis players for free, including Pradorn Srichaphan, Danai Udomchoke, Warit Sonbutnak, and Maximus Prapol Jones. The event also featured an exciting historic match, Thai Legends VS Rising Stars, pitting Pradorn and Dr. Thanakorn Srichaphan against Warit Sonbutnak and Maximus Prapol Jones, concluding with a mini-concert by Thanachai Uchin, known as “Pod Modern Dog.”
