On 27 Apr 2026 GMT+7, “Pro Jean” Atthaya Thitikul, the remarkable Thai female golfer, who missed the cut in this major, lost her No.1 world ranking to American golfer Nelly Korda, who recently won "The Chevron Championship 2026" at Memorial Park Golf Course in Texas, USA.
Nelly Korda finished the final round with a total score of 18 under par 270, claiming her second title in this event after 2024. This victory also marked her 17th LPGA career win, earning her $1.3 million USD, approximately 43 million baht.
The runner-up was "Patty" Paphangkorn Tavatchanakij, a Thai female golfer, who finished tied at 13 under par 275 with Yin Ruoning from China. Both received prize money of $669,859 USD each, about 21 million baht.
