Grand finale! The Thailand Pickleball Championship 2026 and Thailand's first Para Pickleball tournament.
The Thailand Pickleball Championship 2026 Presented by BRAGG concluded perfectly at Pickleball Warehouse in Rangsit, Pathum Thani Province for the general categories, and at Benjakitti Sports Center in Bangkok for wheelchair events, held from 1-3 May amid a lively atmosphere with over 300 athletes nationwide registering to compete.
Thaya Tipsuwan, President of The Pickleball Sport Association (TPSA) and chair of the event, said this marks a significant step forward, raising the standard of pickleball in Thailand to international levels and promoting equal opportunities across all age groups. He expressed gratitude to all partners, especially during the opening ceremony attended by Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand; Preecha Lalun, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority for Sports Excellence and Sports Science; Assistant Professor Pimol Srivikrom, Chair of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand and TPSA advisor; Sanan Wangsaengbun, Deputy Governor of Bangkok; Bussarin Korpaisan, Chair of the Thai Disabled Pickleball Club; and Chantima Tiyawatcharapong, Managing Director of Sampran Foods, Bragg Thailand’s distributor, whose support was key to the event’s success over the three days.
This event also marked the beginning of an official ranking system for Thai pickleball players, with competitions in Intermediate and Open levels for men, women, and mixed doubles across age groups 19+, 35+, 50+, and 60+. Notably, it was Thailand's first national Para Pickleball wheelchair tournament, promoting equality and providing disabled athletes a full platform to showcase their skills. The categories included men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles in Competitive and Inspiration divisions. Competitors battled across more than 30 events for 60 gold, 60 silver, and 60 bronze medals, with total prize money exceeding 120,000 baht.
"Throughout the competitions at both venues, this event served as an important platform to launch many rising Thai pickleball stars who delivered impressive performances and earned medals," the association president concluded.
