Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran defeated “M-Mook” to reach the quarterfinals of the Thailand Open 2026 badminton tournament.
The World Tour Super 500 badminton tournament, "Toyota Thailand Open 2026," competing for the Royal Trophy from His Majesty the King, was held at Nimibutr Arena, National Stadium, Pathumwan, on 14 May.
“Bas” Dechapol Puavaranukroh and “Fem” Supissara Paewsampran, the world No. 3 mixed doubles pair and top seeds of the event, faced “M” Supak Jomkoh and “Mook” Oranicha Jongsathapornpan, ranked 66th in the world, for the second time after narrowly winning 2-1 last year.
The result was that “Bas” Dechapol Puavaranukroh and “Fem” Supissara Paewsampran defeated “M” Supak Jomkoh and “Mook” Oranicha Jongsathapornpan 2-0 games, 21-14, 21-7.
This means in the quarterfinals, “Bas” Dechapol Puavaranukroh and “Fem” Supissara Paewsampran will face Yeh Hong Wei and Nicole Gonzales Chan, the world No. 10 and fifth seeds from Taiwan.
