“Bas” Dechapol Puavaranukroh and “Fem” Supissara Paewsampran, the world No. 3 mixed doubles pair and top seeds of the event, faced “M” Supak Jomkoh and “Mook” Oranicha Jongsathapornpan, ranked 66th in the world, for the second time after narrowly winning 2-1 last year.

This means in the quarterfinals, “Bas” Dechapol Puavaranukroh and “Fem” Supissara Paewsampran will face Yeh Hong Wei and Nicole Gonzales Chan, the world No. 10 and fifth seeds from Taiwan.
