Naresetthada and Apisara Claim Double Titles in 1km Time Trial at Thailand Track Cycling Championships

Naresetthada Boonma and Apisara Srimongkol delivered strong performances to claim double titles in the 1km time trial at the third round of the Thailand Track Cycling Championships.


Naresetthada Boonma, a Thai national cyclist preparing for the 20th Asian Games, showcased impressive form by winning double titles in the 1km time trial for both the men's open and under-23 categories. Meanwhile, Apisara Srimongkol secured two championships in the women's open and under-23 divisions during the Thailand Track Cycling Championships for the Queen Sirikit Trophy 2026, held at the Hua Mak Velodrome.


The third round of the Thailand Track Cycling Championships for the Queen Sirikit Trophy 2026 took place from 29 to 31 May 2026 at the Hua Mak Velodrome under the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT). On 30 May, 15 gold medals were contested. The event was broadcast live via Facebook Live on the Thailand Cycling Association page and TCA Channel, as well as on YouTube's TCA Channel, accumulating more than 8,000 combined views.


Notable results in the women's open 1km time trial included first place for Apisara Srimongkol of the Thai national team preparing for the 20th Asian Games, representing Team Prime19, with a time of 1:17.072 minutes; second place went to Natthaporn Apimot from the same national team, representing Fisherman Friend Chiang Mai, with 1:19.132 minutes; and third place was Nattha Songken, also from Fisherman Friend Chiang Mai, with 1:21.918 minutes.


In the women's under-23 1km time trial, Apisara Srimongkol of Team Prime19 won first place with a time of 1:17.072 minutes, securing her double championship in the event. Natthaporn Apimot from the Thai national team preparing for the 20th Asian Games, riding for Fisherman Friend Chiang Mai, finished second at 1:19.132 minutes, and Nattha Songken of the same team took third place with 1:21.918 minutes.


In the men's open 1km time trial, first place was claimed by Naresetthada Boonma, a Thai national cyclist preparing for the 20th Asian Games and representing the Air Force Cycling Team KOM-KOM, clocking 1:05.057 minutes. Second place went to Pol. Sgt. Yuenyong Petchrat from the Border Patrol Police Command team STC-THULE with 1:07.990 minutes, and third place was Phawudon Kotprom of the Navy Team M Autogate & Siri K Hero bike Thermaltake Bicycle with 1:10.183 minutes.


In the men's under-23 1km time trial, Naresetthada Boonma from the Air Force Cycling Team KOM-KOM took first place with a time of 1:05.057 minutes, marking his double victory in the competition. Second place was Kanokpan Kaewngam-aroen of the National Police Office Cycling Team Goki with 1:11.646 minutes, and third place went to Pitchakorn Intraka of HCCT by Uncle Teng Gas Station with 1:13.275 minutes.


In the girls' youth 1km time trial, first place went to Natthayan Phuget of the Bangkok Sports School & Roojai Team with a time of 1:26.562 minutes; second place to Siwaporn Phuttharam from the same team with 1:28.263 minutes; and third place to Bundita Laddawan, also from the Bangkok Sports School & Roojai Team, with 1:33.068 minutes.


In the boys' youth 1km time trial, first place was awarded to Kantaphat Phosri of HERO BIKE - CK RACING - Ayutthaya Wittayalai School with a time of 1:08.488 minutes; second place to Siriwit Sansai from Bangkok Sports School & Roojai with 1:09.839 minutes; and third place to Thannop Panthi of HERO BIKE - Phayao Pittayakhom School with 1:10.403 minutes.


In the men's open omnium, first place went to Worut Paekratok from the Ministry of Defence Office Team with 190 points; second place to Thanakorn Jumphrabut from the Army Cycling Team with 155 points; and third place to Nalapolwat Sakulthanaphum of Fisherman Friend Wing 46 Phitsanulok Team with 130 points.


In the men's under-23 omnium, first place was awarded to Pongpol Amornpiyakrit of the National Police Office Cycling Team Goki with 124 points; second place to Wanchana Thammapanya from the Navy/Sangsi Yody Own Skin Team with 72 points; and third place to Jinnawat Bamrungpong of the Army Cycling Team with 52 points.
