On 8 June 2026 GMT+7, the latest summary of Thailand's women's volleyball world ranking was released after the first week of the 2026 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) concluded in Nanjing, People's Republic of China, with all 18 nations completing their matches.
Under the leadership of Coach Aot Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai, Thailand's women's national volleyball team finished the first stage without winning any of the four matches, losing 0-3 to Serbia, 2-3 to China, 2-3 to Belgium, and 0-3 to the Czech Republic, earning 2 points and ranking 17th out of 18 teams.
Meanwhile, Thailand's latest women's volleyball world ranking dropped to 24th, with a total of 156.44 points. Prior to this tournament, the Thai women's volleyball team was ranked 18th globally with 171.66 points.
In VNL 2026 Week 2, Thailand's women's volleyball team will return to play in Thailand from 17 to 21 June at the Huamark Indoor Stadium.
