The results showed the Thailand women's national volleyball team performing excellently as a team, defeating Bulgaria 3-0 sets (25-22, 25-20, 25-17) to secure their first victory in VNL 2026.
This win increased Thailand's points to 6, moving them out of the relegation zone from 17th place, overtaking both France and Germany to temporarily claim 14th place. Bulgaria remained at 3 points but dropped to 17th place, replacing Thailand.
