
Coach Ott opened up after the Thailand women's national volleyball team secured their first win in the VNL 2026 by defeating Bulgaria.
Following the impressive performance by the Thailand women's national volleyball team, they defeated Bulgaria decisively 3-0 in sets—25-22, 25-20, 25-17—earning 6 points and climbing from 17th to 14th place in the VNL 2026 standings.
After the match, Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai, head coach of the Thailand women's volleyball team, said, “I want to thank all the players, coaching staff, and fans who came to support us at the stadium and from home. Everyone’s encouragement is a powerful force that keeps our team motivated to perform at their best.”
“Today, everyone gave their fullest effort to show our potential. Reaching this point, we have all overcome difficult obstacles. The results haven’t always been good, so I want to commend all the athletes,” he added.
Next, the Thailand women's volleyball team will compete in the third match of the second VNL 2026 round against Canada, currently ranked 9th in the world, on Saturday, 20 June, at 20:30.
