Pimpichaya Reveals Reason Behind Thai Womens Volleyball Teams First Victory Over Bulgaria in VNL 2026

Pimpichaya Kokram shared her thoughts after the Thai women's volleyball team decisively beat Bulgaria to claim their first victory in VNL 2026.

Following the impressive performance by the Thailand women's national volleyball team, they triumphed over Bulgaria 3-0 with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-17, increasing their total points to 6 and rising from 17th to 14th place in the VNL 2026 standings.

After the match, “Beam” Pimpichaya Kokram, a star hitter for the Thai women's volleyball team, said, "Today, we agreed within the team not to put too much pressure on ourselves. We decided to play as freely as possible and enjoy volleyball. Previously, we were quite stressed and anxious because we feared not being able to secure a win or losing. Today, we were able to enjoy the game and were very happy. I must also praise my teammates because everyone performed excellently today."

"We want to carry this mindset into our upcoming matches because I don’t want everyone to be stressed. When everyone is stressed, they start to pressure themselves."

"Today, we finally unlocked that barrier. I want to thank the fans who came to cheer us at the venue and those watching on screen. Please continue to follow and support us."

Next, the Thai women's volleyball team will play their third match of VNL 2026 Stage 2 against the 9th-ranked Canada national team on Saturday, 20 June at 20:30 GMT+7.
