
The Professional Golf Association of Thailand is preparing to host the major professional golf tournament "Queen's Cup Thailand Championship 2026," competing for the royal trophy bestowed by Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, with a total prize fund of 15 million baht. The event will be held from 2-5 July 2026 at Riverdale Golf Club in Pathum Thani Province.
On 25 June 2026, Mr. Pongrat Luangthumrongjaroen, president of the Professional Golf Association of Thailand, stated, "This tournament is an important event in the Thai golf community. Our association deeply appreciates the royal honor of receiving this prestigious trophy for the competition. The Queen's royal trophy is a symbol of honor that inspires all Thai golfers to train diligently and perform their best. It is a tournament that every Thai golfer dreams of winning and holding this trophy of distinction at least once in their lifetime."
Mr. Kasemsuk Jongmankong, CEO of MBK Public Company Limited's golf business, said, "We thank the Professional Golf Association of Thailand for trusting Riverdale Golf Club to host the prestigious 'Queen's Cup Thailand Championship 2026.' We have prepared comprehensively to ensure the tournament is complete, challenging, and safe. The highlight is Hole 8, the Signature Hole, where the tournament will use the 'upper green' protected by a large bunker. We have also arranged full services in cooperation with our affiliated businesses, including The Nine Center Tiwanon shopping mall, and established a Media Center at Bangkok Golf Club to facilitate all media personnel."
Beyond its honor, the Queen's Cup Thailand Championship 2026 offers a total prize fund of 15 million baht, the highest ever in Thai professional golf history. The champion will receive 2.1 million baht and the privilege of holding the royal trophy bestowed by Her Majesty the Queen. The tournament features top skilled golfers such as famous pros Prayad Marksaeng, Thaworn Wiratchant, Pavit Tangkamolprasert, Rattanon Wannasrichan, Kemkon Limpasut, Niran Saeng, competing alongside promising amateur rising stars who earned entry, including Prin Sarsamut, Ratchanon Chantananuwat, and Setthawut Kenanan, among others.
