Thanan Teerasitiphat won the Open category, Samaporn Kaengkhan took the women's title, and Piya Sawangarunporn claimed the senior championship at the Long Drive Championship 2026.
Golf Lab and The Player Club organized the "Long Drive Championship by Joe Takeuchi" at Golf Lab, Unico Grande Golf Course on 4 Jul 2026 GMT+7. The event was held in a lively and friendly atmosphere, providing entertainment for interested athletes who enthusiastically participated in the competition.
After intense competition, the Open category champion was Thanan Teerasitiphat with a 403-yard drive. Natthaphon Chobtham took second place with 395 yards, and Joe Takeuchi placed third with 410 yards.
In the women's division, the contest was exciting. The champion was Samaporn Kaengkhan with 318 yards, followed by Jidapa Samattiadikul in second with 306 yards. The senior category, for golfers aged 40 and over, was won by Piya Sawangarunporn with 346 yards, while Suwit Chumkham was second with 286 yards.
Additionally, there was a precision contest sponsored by Golf Lab, offering a prize of 100,000 baht for a hole-in-one. The event concluded with a closest-to-the-pin award won by Samaporn Kaengkhan, who hit within 14 feet 10 inches of the pin.
Following the competition, an awards ceremony was held for all winners. Mr. Joe Takeuchi from Golf Lab said the event was organized for fun and entertainment.
