After the game, Jordan Thompson, the outstanding U.S. star who scored a match-high 17 points, said, "Thailand is a talented team with a very creative and fast offense, but we controlled everything well. I am very happy with our performance."
"Thailand’s players move very agilely. I think we adapted very well. Your eyes are the most important weapon in a match like this. You have to see where their players are moving. If you only watch the ball, the players will move past you quickly, putting you at a disadvantage."
The Thai women's national volleyball team will next compete in the "FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League 2026" Week 3, Match 2 against the "Land of the Rising Sun's" women's national team, Japan, on 9 July at 17:20 GMT+7.
