
Thai star in demand! The US league signs "Omsin Sasipaporn," Thai national women's volleyball player, to compete in the LOVB.
"Omsin Sasipaporn Chanthawisut," a middle blocker for the Thai national team, is set to gain new overseas experience after the official announcement that she will play in the US professional League One Volleyball (LOVB) for the 2026-27 season. She is the fourth Thai female player to debut in LOVB this season, following "Beam Pimpichaya Kokram," "Chompoo Pornpun Guedpard," and "Plawan Piyanuch Pannoi."
LOVB officially introduced "Omsin" on their league Instagram account.
"Another Thai superstar has joined our family! Welcome, Sasipaporn Chanthawisut."
"Omsin" is a key player for the Thai national team in the middle blocker position and has delivered outstanding performances at both club and international levels.
She led Nakhon Ratchasima QminC VC to win the Thailand League title and competed in the AVC Champions League before moving to play for Denizli B.B. Belediyespor in the Turkish league, which paved her way to the professional US league gathering world-class athletes from many countries.
Omsin's entry into LOVB marks an important step not only for her career but also reflects the recognition of Thai volleyball players’ potential by leading global leagues.
