"Sasipaporn," who has faced many challenges, shares her thoughts with the new generation of Thai women volleyball players after joining the American league.
On 13 July 2026, Aomsin Sasipaporn Chantawisut, the star middle blocker of the Thailand women's national volleyball team, gave an interview after returning to Thailand following the conclusion of the 2026 Women's Nations League (VNL 2026) third leg in Osaka, Japan.
The Thailand women's volleyball team completed all three VNL 2026 legs, playing 12 matches with 3 wins and 9 losses, earning 12 points and finishing 14th overall. Meanwhile, Aomsin Sasipaporn earned a significant opportunity by being signed to play in the United States' professional League One Volleyball (LOVB) for the 2026-27 season.
This makes Aomsin Sasipaporn Chantawisut the fourth Thai female player to debut in the LOVB this season, following Beam Pimpichaya Kokram, Chompoo Pornpun Guedpradap, and Plawan Piyanuch Paennoy.
Aomsin Sasipaporn opened up about her upcoming move to the American league, having previously played in Turkey with Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyespor, saying, "I feel happy that they chose me to join their team. This league is another one I've dreamed of and wanted to play in as well."
The standout middle blocker of Thai women's volleyball also spoke about her attitude and inspiration for younger players aspiring to become athletes in the future: "I want everyone to be patient because if anyone has followed or knows my story, it means I have faced criticism and negative comments all along. But don't dwell on that."
"Because we're not always bad. We have our skills. We choose to endure and overcome our weaknesses and the negative points we feel. Get through them and just be patient."
"And one thing that's indispensable is "discipline." Without it, we wouldn't have been able to stand where we are today."
