The golf team from Rangsit University took the championship at the "Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2026" qualifying round 2 held in Phetchaburi.
The Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2026 is organized with Chang's commitment to sustainably support Thai golf by creating a standard competition platform for university-level golfers. This is a crucial phase for developing athletes before advancing to leading amateur and professional competitions, while also fostering key qualities such as discipline, responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The qualifying round 2 of the Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2026 took place from 11-12 July at Lakeview Resort and Golf Club in Phetchaburi. The event was honored by Ms. Petchra Chaiyanasale, Accommodation Manager at Lakeview Resort and Golf Club, and Mr. Dowpakorn Rattanasuwan, CEO of The Gents Co., Ltd., who presented awards to the winning team.
Thirteen leading higher education institutions participated, including Assumption University, Bangkok University, Chulalongkorn University, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Kasetsart University, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Mahidol University, Silpakorn University, Navamindradhiraj Royal Air Force Academy, Royal Police Cadet Academy, Sripatum University, Rangsit University, and Thammasat University. This reflects the growth and strength of golf at the university level in Thailand.
At the conclusion of the competition, Rangsit University performed excellently in round 2 to claim the championship, followed by Sripatum University in second place and Assumption University in third.
The top three team results are as follows: 1st place Rangsit University with a total team score of 452 (229-223). Players included Sirirach Koysombun with 5 over par 149 (75-74), Kritipong Kamlangklee 6 over par 150 (76-74), Thanaphat Sirisuk 9 over par 153 (78-75), and Witchapon Thanaphatrodum 18 over par 162 (78-84).
2nd place Sripatum University with a total team score of 454 (227-227). Players included Prompoj Songklod 5 over par 149 (77-72), Chanin Thongpaijit 7 over par 151 (76-75), Noprut Poochan 13 over par 157 (74-83), and Prinya Porn Rungravi 15 over par 159 (79-80).
3rd place Assumption University with a total team score of 473 (238-235). Players included Ratchasak Surasajja 9 over par 157 (77-76), Phuttinan Sri-onrod 15 over par 159 (77-82), Phusita Purahong 20 over par 164 (85-79), and Chutikarn Nuchit 20 over par 164 (84-80).

The final round of the "Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2026" will be held from 14-16 August 2026 at Lakeview Resort and Golf Club in Phetchaburi.
