On 5 August 2026, Piyanuch Pannoi, a prominent star of the Thailand women's national volleyball team, shared the challenges encountered before competing in the BYD DMI 6th SEA V CUP 2026 leg two, scheduled for 7-9 August at Gymnasium 1, Chiang Mai 700th Anniversary Sports Complex in Chiang Mai province.
After practice, Piyanuch Pannoi said, “We want to commend the younger players for their championship win in the first leg held in Vietnam. Now, everyone is confident and ready to compete in the second leg here in Thailand. One thing we need to adjust is the lighting inside the venue. We've started to adapt our eyes to the court conditions, and it's improving compared to before. We want to be as prepared as possible and for the younger players to gain as much experience as they can to compete in bigger future events. We invite fans in Chiang Mai and across Thailand to come support and cheer for us.”
