"Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai" and "Chatchu-on Moksri" share their thoughts after the Thai women's national volleyball team defeated the Philippines in the SEA V CUP 2026 Leg 2 Match 1.
On 7 Aug 2026 GMT+7, "Coach Ot" Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai and "Boom-Bim" Chatchu-on Moksri spoke out after the Thai women's national volleyball team swept the Philippine women's national volleyball team 3-0 sets in the SEA V CUP 2026 Leg 2 Match 1 at the 700th Anniversary Sports Complex in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
"Coach Ot" Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai said, "I want to thank every player for their full dedication and effort today. Everyone was focused, although it was the first game and some were nervous. We achieved the win we hoped for, but there are still areas to improve. As for Boom-Bim, she has been away for a long time, so she seemed nervous and couldn't control her rhythm at first. However, we didn't substitute her out to allow her to adjust and get familiar with her teammates' pace. Tomorrow's opponent, Indonesia, is a strong team with good defense. We cannot underestimate them. We need good serving, fast speed, and strong blocking. Importantly, they recently defeated Vietnam. Today, we remained cautious and must be as disciplined as possible. Finally, thanks to the fans who came to support us—it was a great encouragement."
Meanwhile, "Boom-Bim" Chatchu-on Moksri said, "This was my first game in seven months since the SEA Games. It didn't fully match the image I had in mind, as I believe I can perform better by standard. I'm still working on it. I felt some anxiety, especially since my teammates played well, making me worry I couldn't match their level. Before the game, I didn't talk much with the coach; he didn't pressure me but told me to take it step by step. My teammates encouraged me to stay calm. Also, the fans called my name a lot, which made me very excited and happy."
