Thai women swept four top individual awards after the national volleyball team won the SEA V Cup 2026 Leg 2 championship.
On 9 August 2026 GMT+7, the individual awards were announced following the conclusion of the 6th SEA V Cup 2026 Leg 2 women's volleyball tournament held in Chiang Mai province. The Thai women's national volleyball team claimed the title impressively, winning all three matches without losing a set, earning a perfect 9 points.
Amorn Sasipaporn Chantavisut, the star of the Thai women's volleyball team, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the SEA V Cup 2026 Leg 2. This marks her second consecutive MVP award, having also earned it in Leg 1 in Vietnam, where Thailand also took the championship.
Amorn Sasipaporn Chantavisut also took home the Best Middle Blocker award. The other two awards won by Thai players were Best Opposite Spiker, awarded to Nan Thaddao Nukjaeng, and Best Setter, awarded to Chompoo Pornpan Kerdprach.
