Garena Free Fire, a mobile battle royale game developed and operated by Garena, announced a major collaboration with Buriram United Esports, a leading Thai esports club. They unveiled a grand project creating special in-game items to celebrate and build upon Buriram United Esports' victory at the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025. This merges the worlds of gaming, esports, and digital content to transform a global win into exclusive in-game content accessible to fans.
This partnership follows Buriram United Esports’ well-earned championship at the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025, the biggest global tournament for Free Fire featuring 18 top teams worldwide competing for a total prize pool of 1,000,000 USD (about 34 million baht). The finals were held in Jakarta, Indonesia, in November 2025, with 618,778 players participating from qualifiers across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America, Brazil, the Middle East, and Africa.
Beyond this event, Buriram United Esports has delivered outstanding performances in Free Fire competitions regionally and internationally throughout 2025. They consistently maintained high standards in major tournaments, including runner-up positions in the Free Fire World Series SEA 2025 Spring for both Clash Squad and Battle Royale modes, winning the Free Fire All Stars 2025: Ninja Clash, securing third place in the Free Fire World Series SEA 2025 Fall: Battle Royale, and ultimately reaching the pinnacle by winning the Free Fire World Series Global Finals 2025, the game's most prestigious world championship.
To celebrate this historic achievement, Garena Free Fire collaborates with Buriram United Esports to translate the Thai esports team’s success story into special in-game content via the “Buriram United Esports Pack.” This offers gamers and esports fans worldwide the chance to experience and be part of this global victory moment, fostering powerful engagement among game fans, sports enthusiasts, and the esports club.

The special Buriram United Esports item set was designed incorporating the distinctive lightning symbol and the club’s signature blue color, reflecting the club’s identity of strength and determination in competition. Every detail of the outfits was inspired and crafted from ideas contributed by team athletes, clearly expressing their journey to the world championship through their own personalities.
