A21 surged impressively to claim the B Cup at the major 100 PLUS Thai Tennis League 2026 tournament.
The mixed team tennis competition, the 100 PLUS Thai Tennis League 2026, held its fifth edition with total prize money over 500,000 baht at the ALM X IMPACT Tennis and Sport Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. The event began on 22 Aug 2026 and concluded late at night, organized by "Tammy" Ms. Tammarin Thanasugarn, former Thai national tennis player who once ranked 19th in the world.
The first day of competition was lively, featuring the B Cup category with 7 teams divided into two groups. Group A included RodFai Green (defending champions), BALI Height B, and SAMMITR, while Group B comprised DEK’PITLOK NANA, UNLOSER B, A21, and RBSC Polo Club. Each group played a round-robin, with the top team from each group advancing to the final, and the second-place teams competing for third place.
After the round-robin stage, Group A’s leader was RodFai Green, the defending champions, who won both matches to reach the final against A21, the Group B winner with three straight wins.
In the final, both teams fielded their top players and battled intensely. RodFai Green initially led 2-0 with victories from youth mixed doubles Tanathorn Thawasphongsri and Rio Higashi over Pakpoom Kerdsaengsuriya and Sukrit Sukkaeo 6-4, and from general mixed doubles Pasawit Buraparittha and Areeporn Wanichayapanich defeating Supawat Saeui and Tapanee Boonwat 6-2.
However, A21 then won five consecutive matches, overturning RodFai Green 5-2 to dethrone the champions and claim the new title, earning 80,000 baht. RodFai Green, as runners-up, received 40,000 baht.
The five winning matches for A21 included: women's doubles 90+ age group, Sasivimon Silakul and Amornrat Khrueachanta defeating Sansanee Wongkrit and Busaya Uicharoen 7-5; mixed doubles 100+ age group, Thongchai Jongkwinit and Phattharawadee Sihakun beating Jakrawut Kumut and Duangkamol Thongsiri 7-5.
Men’s doubles 90+ age group, Waree Kongjam and Chawalit Samanmit beating Karnchakon Mekhala and Suradet Jonglerttrakool 6-1; men’s doubles 110+ age group, Somchai Rattanapan and Pradit Manoson defeating Thanakrit Suthipong and Paitoon Wachiraphusit 6-4; and men’s doubles 130+ age group, Thanyaphon Setsomsapong and Panrat Aramwit winning over Kittipong Chantra and Premjit Ratchatam 6-0.
Meanwhile, in the third-place playoff, RBSC Polo Club defeated BALI Height B 5-2, earning third place and a prize of 20,000 baht, while BALI Height B took fourth place with 10,000 baht.
Special awards included Outstanding Team Manager, awarded a jersey to the A21 team manager; two Outstanding Coach awards; and Outstanding Male and Female Player awards.
