"Taddao" reveals the Thai women's volleyball team is focusing on two special areas before facing Indonesia in the Asian Championship match 2.
On 24 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Nan Taddao Nuekjaeng, a key fast attacker of the Thai women's national volleyball team, shared the latest readiness before competing against Indonesia in the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship Group B match 2 in Tianjin, People's Republic of China.
Both the Thai and Indonesian women's volleyball teams won their first matches, but Thailand must plan carefully since they play today at 14:00 (Thai time) before a third match against Kazakhstan tomorrow morning at 09:00 (Thai time).
Nan Taddao Nuekjaeng emphasized that Thailand focuses on two main points before facing Indonesia: improving their blocking game from the first match where they beat Australia 3-0, and managing player rotations for the upcoming match against Kazakhstan tomorrow morning.
Nan Taddao said, "Our team has been preparing specifically for the match against Indonesia, focusing mainly on blocking, both team and individual, because on the first day we did not perform well in this area."
"Coach Ott Kiattipong and the staff have stressed blocking more, and today we have improved in timing and regained confidence," she added.
"Indonesia will definitely fight hard as they are confident after beating Kazakhstan 3-0. We must play with utmost confidence and not give them any chance to build confidence during the game."
"Their strengths lie in freshness and rotating players often. We must plan our player lineup carefully because we have another match scheduled in the morning after this one."
