Thailand’s women’s volleyball team, ranked 17th globally, three-time former champions and defending champions from 2023, faced Japan, ranked 6th and five-time former champions. In the quarterfinals, Thailand beat South Korea 3-0 sets, while Japan swept Chinese Taipei 3-0.
