On 9 September 2026, the Thai men's national volleyball team, ranked 49th in the world, is preparing to face Chinese Taipei, ranked 53rd, in the final group stage match of the 2026 Asian Volleyball Championship. The match will be held today at 11:30 AM Thai time in Fukuoka, Japan.
The Thai men's volleyball team has won their first two matches—defeating Qatar 3-0 and South Korea 3-2—earning 5 points and securing a place in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Asian Volleyball Championship. However, they are still competing for the Group C championship to secure a better path in the knockout stage.
Recently, "Nu" Anuchit Pakdeekaew, a fast player for the Thai men's volleyball team, revealed that Head Coach Park Ki Won from South Korea has announced another bonus: he will treat the team to Starbucks coffee if they beat Chinese Taipei today.
Anuchit Pakdeekaew shared this news on his personal Facebook last night (8 September 2026), saying, "The coach said if we win tomorrow, he'll treat us to Starbucks coffee again. I've already had two cups."
Previously, Coach Park Ki Won treated the Thai men's volleyball team to coffee twice after victories against Qatar and South Korea. Anuchit Pakdeekaew posted a photo holding a coffee cup in front of Coach Park, confirming, "Thank you, coach. After beating Qatar, you treated us to Starbucks."
Now, all eyes are on whether Park Ki Won will treat the Thai men's volleyball team to Starbucks coffee for a third time.
