In mixed doubles, "M" Supak Chomka and "Muk" Ornicha Jongsathapornphan, ranked 45th globally and seeded second in the tournament, lost 1-2 to Liao Pin Yi and Zhang Jia Han, ranked 143rd from China, with scores of 21-9, 14-21, and 25-27.
