Following the completion of the 2026 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, Pakpong Kwangnok and Prasert Pinkaeo have returned to Thailand, leaving the Thai national team with 12 players to prepare for the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.
Earlier, Prasert Pinkaeo, a Thai national team fast attacker, announced his second retirement from the national team after the 2026 Asian Championship, where Thailand was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Australia.
The return of both Pakpong Kwangnok and Prasert Pinkaeo to Thailand leaves the Thai national team roster for the Asian Games preparation at exactly 12 players, matching the competition's player quota.
