Deepest Condolences: Mother Posts Mourning for “Nong Aeya,” 15-Year-Old Female Golfer Struck by Lightning, Now Deceased

Deepest condolences as a mother posts sorrow over “Nong Aeya,” a 15-year-old female golfer struck by lightning, who has now died.

On 2 Nov 2026, following a lightning strike incident that hit a 15-year-old girl on a golf course the previous evening in Don Koka Subdistrict, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, the girl was at the course with a 31-year-old female caddy. The girl suffered severe injuries while the caddy was slightly injured. Both were taken to Bang Nam Priao Hospital for treatment before Nong Aeya passed away, never to return.

Nong Aeya’s mother posted that no parent easily lets go of their child, but if holding on only causes the beloved child pain, she and her husband will reluctantly let go so their child can find peace.

“You were the strongest, my dear Aeya. Your heart stopped when struck by lightning for nearly an hour, yet you fought back ten times over. You endured through the night waiting for your father to fly back to say a final goodbye. Rest peacefully, my beloved child. My heart is shattered completely. I apologize to everyone for not being able to answer calls or respond—I am not ready for anything yet. We are bringing Aeya home today.”
