“Ikkyo-Omo” shed their shuttler image to enlist! Badminton fans tease that their identical haircuts make it impossible to tell them apart. Who is who?
On 12 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the twin rising stars of the Thai national badminton team, “Ikkyo” Panitphol and “Omo” Pakphol Theeraratsakul, both aged 21, posted new photos showing their preparations to report for national service as "navy soldiers" via their social media 'Teeraratsakul Twin'.
The released images show the pair shedding their familiar athlete hairstyles for neat, short buzz cuts in line with military regulations. Fans found themselves confused about which was Omo and which was Ikkyo, as they usually rely on subtle hairstyle differences to tell them apart.
With both sporting exactly the same haircut as if copied, fans flooded the comments with playful teasing, saying things like, “Having the same haircut, now I’m totally confused,” and guessing, “Is the one in the white shirt Ikkyo? Please clarify, still curious.” This brought smiles and laughter to their followers.
Although they temporarily leave behind their beloved shuttler image to fulfill this important duty as young men, it is believed that once their service is complete, both “Ikkyo-Omo” will return physically and mentally stronger to continue pursuing success in the Thai national badminton team.
