The Venson x OS One Solution The Grand Final Stage badminton tournament, with a total prize of 500,000 baht, was held at MU Stadium, Mahidol University, Salaya. Air Chief Marshal Monthon Satchakorn, president of the Badminton Association of Thailand under royal patronage, presided over the closing ceremony and presented awards alongside Surat Chotayakrit, managing director of Venson Sports (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
In the men's doubles open final, competing for the highest prize of 210,000 baht, Thai national team players Team-Woraphon Thongsanga and Oat-Chalermpol Charoenkij-amorn, ranked 60th in the world from VS Sport Thailand and recent participants in the Asian Badminton Championships in Qingdao, China, won the title by defeating Prince-Weeraphat Pakjarung and Mark-Tanupat Wiriyangkul from the same team 2-0 (23-21, 22-20), earning 100,000 baht. The runners-up received 50,000 baht.
In the P-hand category, Max Noppakao Praiwan and Map Pattaraphas Yusuwatjaroen from One Percent defeated Phuri-Phurin SaiKamma and Praek-Nathattham Waiariyaphotchong from Durian Prachin 2-1 (21-17, 10-21, 21-15). The winners received 50,000 baht, while the runners-up earned 30,000 baht.
In the S-hand category, View-Nattawadee Amnuaywatthanakul and Nut-Nattapong Prasongtham from Peemdet defeated Khao-Oat-Theeraphat Kandkokot and Jo-Naphat Jaruseni Nak from HDY + Sadao Municipality 2-0 (21-14, 23-21). Winners received 30,000 baht; runners-up earned 15,000 baht.
In the N-hand category, Jes-Jessada Awikunprasert and Stamp-Thanakorn Yontawil from RSK defeated Chris-Christopher Scott Massey and Mak-Thanarit Amorncharirak from CSM Athletes x Positive Pet Clinic 2-0 (21-14, 21-15). Winners received 30,000 baht; runners-up earned 15,000 baht.
In the BG-hand category, Duke-Siwanus Khemkaew and Bom-Thanarat Chiyangkabut from Singto defeated Titan-Thanapon Suriyo and Ohm-Worawut Jaitrong from Wan Jeab 2-1 (22-25, 21-14, 21-19). Winners received 30,000 baht; runners-up earned 15,000 baht.
Air Chief Marshal Monthon Satchakorn, president of the Badminton Association of Thailand under royal patronage, stated that this event has raised the level of amateur badminton to meet international standards, creating an interesting competition that fosters athlete development.
Observing the participating athletes, he noted their good progress and self-improvement through standardized competition, which promotes quality and potential in Thai badminton, providing skilled players with promising futures and expanding the sport's talent pool.
This event featured various levels, including national team players and general athletes competing in an internationally standardized tournament.
The Mahidol University stadium is a standard, beautiful, and well-equipped venue, making it an attractive location for future competitions.
Surat Chotayakrit, managing director of Venson Sports (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said the tournament aims to promote and develop Thai badminton players' potential, giving athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive, professional environment that fosters sportsmanship, discipline, and respect for competition rules.
The organizers intend to elevate amateur badminton competitions to standardized levels, offering higher prize money than other events to attract athletes and help produce new stars in Thai badminton. The tournament will definitely be held again next year.
This competition allows amateur players to participate in the final round, competing for a total prize pool exceeding 500,000 baht. Amateur categories are divided by skill level into BG, N, S, and P, with representatives selected from regional badminton champions ranked 1st to 3rd across five regions, competing for a combined prize of 290,000 baht.
The highlight was the men's doubles open category, offering the highest prize of 210,000 baht. National team players Team-Woraphon Thongsanga and Oat-Chalermpol Charoenkij-amorn, ranked 60th in the world, competed. Initially, former national players Duck-Songpol Anukrityawarn and Art-Bodin Issara were scheduled to participate but withdrew due to Art-Bodin's injury.
The open category featured many national team players, former national players, and top-ranked athletes from Thailand's championship-level competitions.
The Badminton Association of Thailand honored the event with Udomsak Cheunkrut, secretary-general of the association, presiding over the opening ceremony, and Air Chief Marshal Monthon Satchakorn presiding over the closing ceremony as president of the association.
