In the round two of the World Tour Super 500 badminton tournament, Perodua Malaysia Masters 2026, held in Malaysia on 21 May, "Muk" Aranicha Jongsatapornphan and "Sabi" Sabrina Sopita Wedler, the world No. 270 women’s doubles pair who came through qualifying, faced Francesca Corbett and Jenny Gai, the world No. 25 pair from the United States.
The match was closely contested and swung back and forth before the Thai duo, "Muk" Aranicha Jongsatapornphan and "Sabi" Sabrina Sopita Wedler, edged out Francesca Corbett and Jenny Gai in a thrilling 2-1 victory with scores of 21-16, 11-21, and 25-23.
This win secured "Muk" Aranicha Jongsatapornphan and "Sabi" Sabrina Sopita Wedler’s place in the quarterfinals, where they will meet the Japanese pair Sayaka Hirota and Ayako Sakuramoto, ranked world No. 119.
