In the World Tour Super 1000 badminton event, the "Polytron Indonesia Open 2026" held in Indonesia on 3 June, in the mixed doubles second round, "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supissara Paewsampran, ranked third in the world, faced off against Malaysia's Ho Pang Ron and Lai Pei Jing, ranked 253rd globally.
The match, their first meeting, saw "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supissara Paewsampran play better, defeating Ho Pang Ron and Lai Pei Jing in straight sets 2-0 with scores of 21-14, 24-22, in 38 minutes.
With this result, "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supissara Paewsampran advance to the quarterfinals, where they will face the winner between Gao Jia Xuan and Wei Ya Xin, ranked 70th from China, or Matthias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje, ranked 5th in the world from Denmark.
