The result was that "M" Supak Chomko and "Muk" Oranicha Jongsathapornpun, the world’s 66th-ranked mixed doubles pair, played sharply and defeated "Title" Rushanaphak Uptong and "Jen" Choeinicha Sudjaiprarat. They won 2-0 in games with scores of 21-15 and 21-19.
Supak Chomko and Oranicha Jongsathapornpun, ranked 66th in the world, advanced to the quarterfinals where they will face the winner between "Noel" Phuwanat Hobanluekki or "Guangdong" Fungfa Koptamkit, ranked 174th, and Chan Yin Chak-Eung Si Yiu, ranked 38th, from Hong Kong.
