“Pro Jeen” Atthaya Thitikul, the world’s No. 1 female golfer, said, “Honda LPGA is a tournament close to my heart. Since I was a child, I always went with my grandparents to watch it in Pattaya. It was like absorbing inspiration. From watching from outside, now I am inside the course, which feels very different. My goal is to inspire the young ones who come to watch, so they want to be in the same position as me one day.”
“Regarding the competition, I cannot guarantee that I will be the champion, but what I can guarantee is that I will practice fully and prepare well. I don’t want to focus solely on winning the title, but playing at home in front of Thai golf fans is very special. And if I win, it would be even more special.”
“For golf fans, the Honda LPGA tournament is surely an event everyone eagerly awaits. For Thai fans, I invite everyone to come watch at the course. If you cannot come to the venue, AIS has the live broadcast rights this year, so don’t forget to tune in and support Thai golfers.”
