TJ "The Wolf Juniors" continues his hot form, winning the TJWT Round 4 championship with a clear lead.
Pannawit Wangjaisuk, known as "TJ," a rising star in youth golf nicknamed The Wolf Juniors, delivered another outstanding performance by winning the Thailand Junior World Tour (Season 2) Round 4 at Dynasty Golf and Country Club in Nakhon Pathom on 15 Feb 2026 GMT+7, finishing with a total score of 76 (+4), well ahead of the runner-up, confirming his progress and consistency in the 2026 season.
This event is a key tournament in the national youth golf tour program, featuring young golfers from various regions competing amid challenging conditions on fairways and greens that demand precise shot placement and putting control.
TJ started confidently at the first hole, playing cautiously according to his practiced plan. He scored 40 strokes in the front nine, then accelerated in the back nine with 36 strokes, finishing the day with a total of 76 (+4) to claim the championship impressively.
This score reflects his increased composure and improved decision-making, especially in the closing holes where he effectively controlled the game, minimized errors, and consistently secured pars to maintain his lead until the end.
This championship is another success in TJ’s 2026 campaign, following strong performances in previous events. It highlights his growth in technical skills, strategic planning, mental toughness, and improved emotional control during competition.
Through systematic training in swing, short game, and mental focus, TJ has maintained consistent performance standards, establishing himself as a promising youth golfer among his peers.
This tournament marked a key milestone as TJ’s father, Piyapong Wangjaisuk, who had previously served as his caddy, stepped back to allow TJ to fully manage his own game.
During this event, TJ made all playing decisions, club selections, and shot calls independently, with only the course caddy providing layout advice and basic hole information.
Piyapong said, “For this tournament, I wanted him to try doing everything himself—from reading the game and choosing clubs to making decisions in various situations—because I want him to grow into a golfer who thinks independently and takes responsibility for his own game. He did better than expected and showed greater concentration.”
Coach Nam—Thichlada Nithithirosakul, TJ’s trainer—revealed that they recently made slight swing adjustments to suit his stronger physical development and to generate more power in his swing.
“TJ has gained more strength lately, so we adjusted his swing to match his increased speed and power. We also changed his driver and tailored his iron set to fit his physique and swing tempo, resulting in steadily improving outcomes.”
Coach Nam also emphasized that beyond technique, they focus on sports psychology to help TJ develop positive thinking and enjoy playing golf more.
“Our main focus is his mindset on the course. We want him to have fun and not put too much pressure on himself because golf teaches discipline, patience, and problem-solving. He has improved greatly and we believe he will continue to develop.”
After the first four rounds, TJ remains the clear leader in the Class E cumulative points standings with 164 points, well ahead of second place.
1. Pannawit Wangjaisuk – 164 points
2. Phatthaya Wuttivitthayarak – 114 points
3. Sashasit Jitchichai – 102 points
