TAT Collaborates with Eastern Golf Courses to Host Color Of The East Golf Paradise 2026

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) partners with Eastern golf courses to organize the Color Of The East Golf Paradise 2026 tournament.

On 28 May 2026, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Eastern Region, led by Kanokkittika Kritwutikorn, Director of the Eastern Region, joined forces with top golf course executives in the East.

These include Thanaboon Chanarat Sophon, General Manager of Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa; Niran Pimwong, General Manager of Saint Andrews 2000 Golf Course; Thanasit Rachasingh, General Manager of Lotus Valley Golf Resort;

and Nattanaree Baopimpa, Assistant General Manager of Bangpra Golf Club, along with Triple Nine Network Co., Ltd. and influencers and sponsor representatives, to hold the press conference officially launching the grand annual golf festival “Color Of The East Golf Paradise 2026” at the Parichat Room, Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel, Rama 9 Road, Bangkok.

The event promotes the “Play Stay Save” concept aimed at boosting sports tourism during the off-season by offering special deals and accommodation discounts to attract golfers and families nationwide, intending to generate sustainable economic activity in the Eastern region.

Kanokkittika Kritwutikorn, Director of the Eastern Region at TAT and chairperson of the press conference, stated, “The Eastern Region is a high-potential tourism destination with convenient transport and comprehensive facilities, recognized as a 'World Class Golf Destination' that has hosted international tournaments. TAT sees a key opportunity to use golf as a 'magnet' to attract quality tourists.

This aims to stimulate the economy and travel while creating new tourism landmarks, especially during the rainy or Green Season, when nature is lush and golf courses are particularly scenic. TAT has partnered with the private sector to turn challenges into opportunities to boost the market and continuously attract quality travelers.”

The strategy, 'PLAY STAY SAVE,' is designed specifically for golfers and families. The highlight is offering value return: "Register to compete and immediately receive an 800-baht accommodation discount coupon" valid at participating hotels and resorts.

The competition will be held at four leading golf courses covering strategic areas in the East between June and September 2026. The goal is to increase travel during the low season, distributing revenue to hotels, golf courses, and communities, while integrating cooperation to strengthen and sustain Thailand’s sports tourism industry.

Representatives from the four legendary and popular golf courses in the East — Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa, Saint Andrews 2000, Lotus Valley Golf Resort, and Bangpra Golf Club — confirmed their readiness to host the tournament, highlighting the challenging yet lush Green Season conditions and full service preparations to accommodate golfers and their companions, perfectly matching the 'Play Stay Save' family relaxation concept.

The press conference also featured three well-known influencers representing three golf lifestyles sharing their experiences and emphasizing the charm of golfing in the East. These included actor Pratthakorn Duangsawang (Peter), reflecting the area’s appeal to the 'Work Hard, Play Hard' younger generation; news anchor Warunthorn Somkijroongroj (Pichsi), who encouraged women to join the swing competition during the Green Season; and sports news anchor Thanawut Nutchatavechwong (Tu), representing family golfers and confirming that the Play Stay Save campaign perfectly suits the 'happy family golf travel' lifestyle.

To add excitement, Dr. Prajin Eamlumno, Chairman of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited and an automotive industry expert, recognizing the importance of promoting tourism through golf, supported prizes for all competition venues. The project also received special awards from leading partners.

These included the Hole in One prize: a Happiness Bedding Gen3 health mattress worth 149,000 baht from Power Rich 2024 Co., Ltd., along with an exclusive health check-up package for golfers valued at 13,800 baht from Rama 9 Hospital. Additional prizes included innovative golf equipment such as the 100dB SOUND PUTTER and Putt Simulator training device from Pro Golf Asia Co., Ltd.

The Color Of The East Golf Paradise 2026 tournaments are scheduled as follows: the first on Friday, 19 June 2026, at Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa, Nakhon Nayok; the second on Friday, 17 July 2026, at Saint Andrews 2000, Rayong; the third on Friday, 7 August 2026, at Lotus Valley Golf Resort, Chachoengsao; and the fourth on Friday, 4 September 2026, at Bangpra Golf Club, Chonburi.
