Four rising golfers undergo intensive training in South Korea through the SAT Golf Excellence Center 2026 – International Training Camp program.
The four young Thai golfers—Saowanit Charoensukrungrueang, Poraphat Saisueb, Kan Batpattana, and Yosawat Pruksangkur—were rigorously selected through the "SAT Golf Excellent Center 2026" project. Supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), they traveled to South Korea to attend a high-level training camp from 8 to 12 June 2026, aiming to enhance their skills and advance Thai youth golf on the international stage.
This trip's key objective was to join a high-level development program designed to comprehensively enhance the athletes' capabilities. The four young Thai golfers participated in technical golf training with leading South Korean experts while simultaneously improving their physical fitness through sports science specifically for professional golfers. Additionally, they practiced on the course alongside South Korea's national golf team and observed the professional KLPGA tournament, Mercedes-Benz KOREA WOMEN'S OPEN, broadening their perspectives and inspiring them toward professional athletic careers.
The five-day journey in South Korea laid a strong foundation and provided crucial momentum, supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand, to help these four young Thai golfers continuously develop their potential. This experience aims to prepare them to become core contributors to Thailand's golf community and achieve higher success on the international stage.
