Phuket is alive with excitement as motorsport fans flock to watch TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Thailand 2026. Miya, Nanthaphan, Chokchai, and Nattanan each took home titles in the Toyota One Make Race Round 2, with Miya repeating as champion in the YARIS ATIV HEV GR Sport Challenge Cup.
Mr. Supakorn Rattanaworaha, Deputy Senior Managing Director of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., Mr. Romdon Hayiawe, Deputy Governor of Phuket Province, along with heads of local government departments and representatives from Toyota dealerships in Phuket, jointly inaugurated the “TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Thailand 2026” event under the theme “MAKING EVER-BETTER MOTORSPORTS-BRED CARS” on 29-30 August 2026 at Saphan Hin Park, Phuket. The event featured Miya Thongjue, Pangpond-Akkarawut, PaiPai Oreo, as well as racers and prominent influencers, drawing overwhelming interest from motorsport fans, tourists, and spectators nationwide to experience this seaside speed festival up close.
This year’s Toyota One Make Race in Phuket attracted close attention from motorsport fans, with a total of 57 race cars competing across four main TOYOTA One Make Race categories. The season’s highlight was the YARIS ATIV HEV GR Sport Challenge Cup, which provided celebrities, influencers, and media personnel the first opportunity to experience hybrid car performance in real race conditions, under Toyota’s Multi-Pathway concept. This drew significant interest from motorsport fans, tourists, and the public attending the event.
The excitement of the YARIS ATIV HEV GR Sport Challenge Cup was amplified by appearances from well-known influencers such as Top Tosapol Maisuk, Leesaw Teerathep Winothai, and Sendai–Sod Style, who demonstrated impressive driving skills rivaling the One Make Race professionals, generating cheers and thrills throughout the competition. The final standings were: 1st Miya Thongjue (car no. 9), 2nd Nontanat Chaisirisuwan (J.PAN CARNEST, no. 6), 3rd Top Tosapol Maisuk (no. 3), 4th Leesaw Teerathep Winothai (no. 4), 5th Bew Pinyada Plathamai (no. 8), 6th Peeraphat Hunsawat (Cokey P, no. 7), 7th Chacha-Ritta Ramnarong (no. 10), 8th Kittitach Kesmanee (Streetmetal, no. 5), 9th Chunsuke Akagi (no. 1), and 10th Pimlada Dongkanja (Sendai–Sod Style, no. 2).
The other four Toyota One Make Race categories also delivered thrilling action. In the Yaris ATIV Lady One Make Race, featuring female racers from various fields competing fiercely from the first round, Miya Thongjue (car no. 198) from TOYOTA Racing Star Team claimed first place driving a YARIS ATIV Carbon Neutral Fuel car. Second was Kitiya Theerawatwatee (car no. 189) from KT Team Thailand, third Kamonsikan Thanasinchai (car no. 169) from BoxzaRacing Motorsport Team, fourth Chacha-Ritta Ramnarong (car no. 121) from TRANE Titanium FAST FORWARD SPORT, and fifth Suthasinee Sirirak (car no. 116) from RaceGO Team.
Next, the popular YARIS One Make Race, the category with the most participants and featuring crowd favorite PaiPai Oreo from TOYOTA Racing Star Team driving a YARIS Carbon Neutral Fuel race car, showcased intense battles and tactical racing throughout. The final results were: 1st Nanthaphan Sirisrittharakul (car no. 73) from N-Sports, Acre, Singha Team Vattan; 2nd Kittinat Lueangarunchai (car no. 24) from RukTeam Pumpkin PMC52; 3rd Chitsanupong Phocharoentham (car no. 53) from Apex Sim Racing Team by HGRAcademy; 4th Siripakorn Yaebyon (car no. 68) from Tmc-Drive68LensoxWolverByWootbangbon3; and 5th Aleeanz Voltz (car no. 21) from B-Quik Racing Team.
The Hilux REVO One Make Race continued to thrill with the robust performance of these tough pickup trucks, demanding precision and experience from drivers. The results were: 1st Chokchai Jarunongkarn (car no. 22) from Black Hunter Motorsport by HGR x VG x Ricota; 2nd Jakpan Wannarat (car no. 17) from Team TRANE TITANIUM x FAST FORWARD SPORT YOKOHAMA Tuned by Art; 3rd Chalermphon Phonluekin (car no. 13) from VOLTRONIC NEXZTER WISE RACING TEAM BY RYNNI; 4th Kiranan Pantong (car no. 90) from Team TRANE TITANIUM x FAST FORWARD SPORT YOKOHAMA by Rodsing Thailand; and 5th Kittisak Chatapanwitaya (car no. 52) from W-Tech Motorsport VOLTRONIC NEXZTER By RYNNI.
The finale featured the top-tier Corolla ALTIS GR Sport One Make Race, bringing together the leading drivers of the series. The final standings were: 1st Nattanan Phueathongkham (car no. 16) from N-Sports, Acre, Singha Team Vattan; 2nd Sirithana Mitrari (car no. 66) from Lenso Motorsport Sinthorn by Vanguard Garage; 3rd Kentaro Shiba (car no. 3); 4th Pangpond Akkarawut (car no. 10) from TOYOTA Racing Star Team; and 5th Sitanan Pikulkajorn (car no. 7) from BFIN RACING COMPACT ELF THE HUB.
Beyond the intense racing, the event’s activities attracted great interest. The Walk About on Track allowed fans close access to the YARIS ATIV HEV GR Sport race cars and photo opportunities with racers and celebrities such as Miya Thongjue, Pangpond Akkarawut, PaiPai Oreo, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Tangmo-Punnada, Chacha Ramnarong, Nokia Suthasinee, and Pondtech Benjarong, creating a friendly and fun atmosphere. The highly anticipated Drift Show featured thrilling high-level driving skills from renowned Thai drifters ‘Pond’ Dechapol Toyingcharoen and ‘Pae’ Kanphichit Toyingcharoen, with special celebrity guests joining in. The Multi-Pathway Show saw TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Thailand drivers demonstrate the performance of various Toyota models, eliciting continuous cheers from the crowd. The 4x4 Adventure Track offered participants the chance to experience Toyota Hilux TRAVO and Land Cruiser FJ vehicles on a challenging simulated course over 5 meters high across two days. The festivities concluded with mini-concerts by Tong Kaewlin and a full concert by the band Retrospect, energizing motorsport fans by the seaside throughout the night.
