The Chanluang Siblings Lead Thailands Ski Team to the 2026 Winter Olympics

Thailand is sending skiers to compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan–Cortina, Italy, from 6–22 February. Three Thai athletes have qualified, led by the Chanluang siblings, who are participating in the Winter Games for the third consecutive time.

On 7 February 2026, the Thai national team will compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics, led by 31-year-old cross-country skier Mark Chanluang, a Thai-Italian dual citizen who remains a key member of the team. He has represented Thailand since 2017 and notably carried the Thai flag during the opening ceremony of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. This will be his third Olympic appearance.

Meanwhile, Karen Chanluang, Mark's younger sister, continues on the same cross-country skiing path. She gained recognition by winning a youth championship in France at age 10, and the 2026 Winter Olympics will mark her third consecutive Olympic competition as well.

Additionally, the Thai team has given an opportunity to rising 17-year-old alpine skier Fabian Weese, who began skiing at age 3 and has shown outstanding performance in youth competitions in Switzerland. He was selected by the Ski and Snowboard Association of Thailand (SSAT) to compete in the Olympics for the first time.

Thai sports fans are encouraged to support the Thai athletes as they aim to deliver strong performances and gain valuable experience on the world stage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in the snowy arenas.
