Kometh and Chutikarn Win BMX Championships at Thailand National Series Round 3 in Phichit

Kometh and Chutikarn claim BMX championship titles at Thailand National Championships Round 3 in Phichit, Thailand BMX National Series.


Kometh Sukprasert and Chutikarn Kitchawanitseth, two Thai national cyclists preparing for the 20th Asian Games from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, impressed fans by winning the public category championship as expected at the Thailand BMX National Championships for the Royal Trophy 2026, Round 3, held in Phichit Province.


The Thailand BMX National Championships for the Royal Trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, 2026, Round 3, took place on 22-23 May at the Saranchit Mongkolsuk Cycling Track (Bueng Si Fai) in Phichit Province. The final rounds on 23 May were officiated by Mr. Thanit Phumthaworn, Deputy Governor of Phichit Province; Mr. Singhharat Wongsengiam, Deputy Mayor of the Phichit Provincial Administrative Organization; and Colonel Sahasphop Butsri, Mayor of Pho Prathap Chang Municipality, who jointly presented awards to the athletes. The event was broadcast live on the Thailand Cycling Association's Facebook Live and the TCA Channel on YouTube, attracting over 12,000 viewers combined.


In the Round 3 final results, notable categories included the men's public class, where "Ae" Sergeant Kometh Sukprasert, a Thai national cyclist preparing for the 20th Asian Games and two-time gold medalist at the 33rd SEA Games from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, took first place. Second place went to "Ohm" Mr. Putthapoom Nakpan, a Thai national cyclist also preparing for the Asian Games and two-time silver medalist at the 33rd SEA Games from the C.S.K. TOOLING PATHUMTHANI team. Third place was awarded to Mr. Nopadon Klaimanihan from the Klaymaneehan Team.


In the men's under-23 category, first place was won by Mr. Putthapoom Nakpan of C.S.K. TOOLING PATHUMTHANI, second place by Mr. Nattawut Tothong of the Provincial Administrative Organization & Isuzu Suphanburi team, and third place by Mr. Rawipol Nuch from Project-B, Rajavinit Bangkaew.


In the women's public category, first place was claimed by "Fah" Sergeant Chutikarn Kitchawanitseth, a Thai national cyclist preparing for the 20th Asian Games from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence. Second place went to "Kwan" Ms. Hathai Phet Jaisawang, a Thai national cyclist preparing for the Asian Games from the Fisherman Friend Rama 3 team, and third place was taken by Ms. Khemika Srisopa from the S.R.I. Cycling Team: Ban Dek Ying Saraburi.


In the women's under-23 category, first place was awarded to Ms. Hathai Phet Jaisawang of the Fisherman Friend Rama 3 team, second place to Ms. Warisara Sasi from BMX Phichit, and third place to Ms. Panthila Iamchai from the Royal Sky team.


In the male youth category, first place went to Mr. Poomjai Thai Nakpan of C.S.K. TOOLING PATHUMTHANI, second place to Mr. Kantapat Phosri from CK RACING - Ayutthaya Wittayalai School team, and third place to Mr. Jirayu Phunuch from Project-B, Rajavinit Bangkaew.


In the female youth category, first place was won by Ms. Papada Krongprong of the S.R.I. Cycling Team: Ban Dek Ying Saraburi, second place by Ms. Papichaya Krongprong from the same team, and third place by Ms. Lodamanee Ruenruay from the Samut Prakan Cycling Association team. The next event is the Thailand National Balance Bike Championship for 2026, Round 1, at the Saranchit Mongkolsuk Cycling Track (Bueng Si Fai) in Phichit Province. The competition starts at 07:30, with the opening ceremony at 08:30, presided over by Mr. Krit Pensupa, President of the Phichit Provincial Administrative Organization. The event will be broadcast live on the Thailand Cycling Association's Facebook Live and the TCA Channel on YouTube throughout the competition.
